Stores & Workplaces of the future: Physical and Digital Designs for shaping Individual and Social Experiences

With the growth of eCommerce as a key distribution channel for the future, the role of retail stores will fundamentally change - from transactional to a far more experiential spaces, where clients immerse into the world of the brand. As a fundamental difference to flagship stores of the past, it is less about impressing by exclusivity but far more about engaging a client into the socially-relevant community of the brand - empowering customers and facilitating the creation of new relationships. As much as digital technologies will play a key role in enriching reality, enhancing service & convenience levels and bridging between the on- & offline worlds, it is important not to enter the one-way of just adding digital noise to stores.

To keep pace with the quest for newness, fixed architectures and static interior designs are increasingly becoming obsolete, replaced by flexible and even temporary and mobile spaces (“architectural changing rooms”). The same applies to workspaces for the future that must provide far more value add to group dynamics than just assigning fixed places to individual workers - a nicer interpretation of the old assembly-line model of organisation. As a result, we have to take a much broader perspective: The concept of stores, workspaces, lounges and event spaces increasingly converge. Interior design is no longer static and window dressing the focus to attract clients, but increasingly your brand space becomes the forum or the window that needs to be regularly curated to attract and retain people. Exciting new opportunities for those who want to seize them. Let’s talk.

The Swarm is experienced team of innovators that share the same ambition: to take your store & workplace experience to another level. To create better places that make more sense for human beings. To translate the DNA of your brand and its brand identity into meaningful staff and customer experiences. This experiential branding across all of your channels will become a key success for the future.

They have worked for a variety of industries, re-inventing temporary stores for consumer brands, designing the store of the future as well as designing the bank of the future. So definitely more than worthwhile to have a discussion.

We’re the urban-obsessed agency with years of experience in helping brands to captivate and become irresistible to their audience.

We thrive on working with clients with challenging projects of differing scales across a diverse range of industries and sectors. Simply put we do it all, from branding to strategy and everything else in-between. We know how to build brands, develop company cultures, engage and delight new audiences, keep customers loyal, create awesome brand identities with even more awesome print collateral. We know how to create copy that is emotionally engaging, design digital experiences that thrill, and we do it whilst working collaboratively with our clients and with a buzz that doesn’t fade.

Our strategists are brand-savvy, our designers understand the value of insight, and our brand experts can think like designers. We don’t stick labels on everything just to prove we know the difference between strategy, branding and design nor keep them separate from one another as they’re all essential, and each one must be perfectly in sync with the rest.

This approach means you get to work with a creative team, not just a team of creatives.

Our teams are ready to work with you.
