B2B functionality - Contributing to half of their revenue, Traidcraft has a wide network of ‘Fair Traders’ who act as re-sellers within the community. Committed to improving the online experience for Fair Traders purchasing on credit, Traidcraft discovered limitations with the B2B functionality within the Community version.
Storytelling - As the original fair trade pioneers, Traidcraft wanted more control over the content on their category and product pages. Enabling them to tell the story of how these products have been ethically sourced from growers and artisans around the world.
Mobile traffic - Increased marketing activities and social campaigns lead to an increase in mobile traffic. Traidcraft required a seamless and engaging mobile-optimised experience.
Having begun discussions in June 2018, Traidcraft wanted to move from Magento 2 Community to Enterprise ahead of their key trading period in September.
With a tight timeframe of just two months, Two Jay delivered Traidcraft’s Magento 2 Enterprise site by the end of August 2018. Whilst also migrating them to Magento Cloud which offers the team unrivalled support during key search periods and includes Magento Business Intelligence. During the upgrade, other key integrations were also added including Klevu and Dotmailer.
Having delivered the migration ahead of schedule, Two Jay and Traidcraft will now explore phase 2 of the project which will focus on the UX and design of the checkout and other key pages.
Having chosen Magento 2 Enterprise, Traidcraft now have a reliable and scalable site which is mobile-optimised, able to showcase their content-rich products and better caters for their B2B offering.
