Creating and executing an integrated campaign
The Kohinoor ‘Taste the Joy of India’ TV commercial unfolds images of Indian cities on a plate via stop motion animation. Food is a microcosm of the place it comes from. Taste Delhi Butter Chicken and taste the narrow alleyways, crumbling ruins and exotic bazaars of Old Delhi. Taste Bombay Egg Curry and taste the city that dreams a million dreams without ever sleeping.
The film has been produced using 700+ sublimation printed plates. Each frame in the film is custom designed. While the uniqueness of India is showcased in the illustrations and animation, the execution adds another layer to the film. A travelogue that gives you a taste of India in its little stories, playing out as animations on plates.
